About ModalJazz

ModalJazz is a music notation app for people who want to work with the keyboard or an AI agent, not with the mouse.

Most notation apps put each note in place with the mouse, or with a long chain of menu clicks. ModalJazz takes its ideas from the vim text editor: modes, short key commands, counts, and motions. The mouse only helps.

The app is a native Mac app. Its own engine engraves the page: it does not use another notation library.
